Physician Well-Being Index (WBI)
Your well-being matters
Practicing medicine in today’s healthcare environment is challenging. The stress can take a toll on your well-being, particularly when dealing with medico-legal events.
CMPA is pleased to bring you the Physician Well-Being Index (WBI) in French and English.
Validated by the Mayo Clinic, this quick, user-friendly assessment tool allows you to accurately measure your well-being.
Why use the Physician Well-Being Index
-
Quick and easy: The assessment takes under 2 minutes
-
Monitor your progress: Track changes to your well-being over time and compare your results to peers
-
Access resources: Be directed to province / territory specific wellness resources
You can access the WBI through the CMPA website (CMPA - Physician support and wellness). Your CMPA credentials will be needed to access the tool, as a way to restrict our access to physicians working in Canada so as to preserve data integrity. However, once you access the WBI site, which is completely separate from CMPA, CMPA has no visibility on individual answers. CMPA only receives aggregate data, and therefore your answers are completely anonymous.
